F.A.Q.

1. I have Roxio Creator 2009 Special Edition.  After I installed it, it keeps crashing and won’t even open. I am running WinXP, with all updates current.

Answer:  Download the milcore.dll, run your a/v scan on it and then put it in the Windows/System32/ folder.  Reboot.

2. I upgraded my Creative Memories Memory Manager to 3.0 and now it crashes when I try to rotate my photos.

Answer: Try the following steps.  Caveat emptor. Back up all files and seek technical assistance if you are not familiar or comfortable with these steps.

Hello,

I have heard back from the developers of the program regarding this issue, they said: We’ve seen this before.
1) Uninstall all .NET frameworks by using the cleanup tool found here: http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/pages/8904493.aspx
There are instructions there on using the tool. Have the user select the option to cleanup all versions of the framework.
 2) Reinstall the frameworks, in order, from Microsoft:
 .NET 2.0 – http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5
 .NET 3.0 – http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=10cc340b-f857-4a14-83f5-25634c3bf043
 3) Continue by installing the below from Microsoft:
 .NET 3.0 SP1 – http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=ec2ca85d-b255-4425-9e65-1e88a0bdb72a
  4) Install:
 .NET 3.5 – http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=333325fd-ae52-4e35-b531-508d977d32a6
 5) Try MM3 again. If it still does not work, install:
 .NET 3.5 SP1 – http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=ab99342f-5d1a-413d-8319-81da479ab0d7
