Emails Small Business website owners should watch out for
ByMost emails small business owners receive are legitimate. However, more and more these days spammers get hold of the business email address and try to phish the small business owner for data, a legitimate address, or worse, access to the website. Below you will see a recent email that has been going around the Internet to business owners. You can search on Twitter under #spam or Google it to see more examples. Of course, the poor grammer gives much of it away; even so, don’t get spammed!

Hello,
I am interested in purchasing advertising spot on your website. I need most user-friendly type of advertising – simple text links.
I never ask to link to any objectional or inappropriate sites and do not promote anything related to gambling, adult or pharmacy.
The only condition you have to accept is that I may ask to change a link once a month.
If you are interested in my offer, please let me know how much will it cost me.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Paul Lisitsyn
